Knight's Cross of the Fifth Order of Military Merit, the highest Polish military medal
The silver cross of the Virtuti Militari Order of the Cavalry type is housed in the Nowy Sącz District Museum. It is the highest military medal in Poland, awarded to soldiers who have demonstrated outstanding bravery in combat.
